Lift Safety Features

PFlow Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors (VRCs) are a safe and economical way to raise and lower materials in factories, warehouses, industrial plants, institutions or anywhere that products or supplies need to move from one level to another. Safety is mentioned first because we take it extremely seriously. We believe that one of the most important benefits that our material lifts bring to an industry is a level of safety that can’t be achieved with a forklift, which prevents injury and keeps workers productive.

Our commitment to lift safety has resulted in a stronger research and development (R&D) program and more rigorous testing than any other VRC manufacturer. The principles we’ve learned from these programs are integrated into all of our product designs, where they are tested and refined again. Once we go to production on a new lift design, the safety features we’ve developed and tested are baked in. Each PFlow lift is designed from the ground up with a variety of safety features designed to protect workers, materials, and machines.

All PFlow lifts with flexible lifting means include spring-loaded safety cams, over-travel, and chain tension protection. PFlow also manufactures its own safety-interlocked gates and enclosure guards. The patented DeckLock Safety System, only offered by PFlow, provides added protection at critical upper levels. These features meet or exceed all code requirements. Our VRCs are designed with the best safety features available in the industry to avoid a potentially costly or harmful accident. PFlow lifts also meet OSHA regulations.

Installing any PFlow lift product in your facility means gaining peace of mind, as well as increased efficiency in material handling operations. By reducing the amount of forklift travel in your facility’s lanes, and gaining the ability to store more materials out of the way, you increase efficiency and safety at once. PFlow lifts elevate your business and make your operations safer.
